Kali Limenes beach — Attraction in Municipality of Festos

This beach is one of the most beautiful places we visited in this south part of the island. Road to arrive not easy but manageable if you have some practice with driving non-asphalt roads. However, this beach has two accesses. For ideas worthy to drive toKali Límenes beach as on that day all beaches nearby where exposed to the wind. The water is transparent clear and the beach has no wind. The beach is long and has two bars where they serve drinks, coffee, ice creams and a wide variety of local and tasty food. We ate in the bar a tasty lunch and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and the good service. The umbrella and the sun-beds are for free when you buy a refreshment in the bar. Ah! Close to the bars there is a camping area. Also, parking is free and close to the beach. I very much recommend this quiet and peaceful spot. A jewellery in this part...

This beach is quite long. So it is almost impossible to go there and be crowded. The water is crystal clear snd beach it self very clean. It is mostly sandy. It is very easy to get there. It has a very big parking that is safe and free of charge. It is also suitable for families with children. It isn't organised so it has no umbrellas or seats. And it has almost nowhere shade. So it is strongly recommended to have some sort of shade with you like an umbrella. Enjoy and PLEASE...

Condivido la maggior parte delle recensioni. Si è vero.. ci sono a volte le navi petroliere a un distanza e ci sono i serbatoi a vista dell'isola a 400 metri... ma l'acqua è di un cristallino unico con una vista sul fondo stupendo fino a 15 metri. Io l'ho amata e la consiglio... anche perché è sempre calma e riparata... ed è un'ottima alternativa a quella tanto desiderata di Angiofarago .. la cui strada è su fattibile ma in alcuni punti le auto scavano solchi molto profondi rischiando di bloccare il mezzo!! Verificate sempre a piedi di volta in volta le condizioni della strada... voi abbiamo visto in un gorge vicino un'auto panda immobilizzata perché il terreno non era adattato e compatto!!è rimasta lì!! La spiaggia vede certamente la presenza di turismo greco e tanti motociclisti con tende... ma la pace che regna è unica!! Ribadisco... si può fare snorkeling per ore vedendo un fondale bello e tanti pesci...ed esplorando i 3 scogli (bianco e nero) che sono li vicino. C'è una sola taverna ma vale la pena andarci sicuramente... cucina...
