Fun free cave if you have a headlamp, good shoes, and limited bulk. If you walk past the red line I drew, you’ve gone too far. Look for the gated entrance where I’ve circled, it’s a bit lower than I thought compared to the hueco-y wall that drew us in.
Things to note: humid as a few have mentioned. It’s not cool down there. keep the gate closed to make sure goats don’t fall in. bring a headlamp (mandatory) and a helmet if you have. we brought a backpack but didn’t really need to. Climb down a metal ladder, walk down a somewhat slippery path with the help of a climbing rope someone installed, down one more ladder and the cave opens up into a large room. At first you go down a ladder and then you crawl through a quite small hole.
