Είναι περισσότερο γνωστή από το μεσαιωνικό φρούριο, επί του ομώνυμου "Βράχου της Μονεμβασίας", που αποτελεί στην κυριολεξία μικρή νησίδα που συνδέεται με γέφυρα σε σχηματιζόμενο λαιμό συνολικού μήκους 400 μέτρων με τη σημερινή παράλια κατ΄ έναντι πόλη επί της λακωνικής ακτής.

Not sure why the beach got a reward. It was nice for a short stop and a quick swim. Close to the road, although without a heavy traffic, narrow, mostly gravel. There was some garbage on the beach. The...
