This beach is a 10-minute drive from Nafplio, or you can walk along the Palamidi Path from Nafplio. The walk along the coast is beautiful but takes about 55 minutes. We did the walk in August and it was very hot - be sure to have water with you. The beach is good - it is sandy and you can go out quite a way before it gets too deep. The water is not really wavy - ot was calm when we were visiting in August. There is lots of space. Many locals on the beach. Many people brought their own sun umbrella. There were several areas where umbrellas were available for rent - rental umbrellas were 20 euros or 40 euros depending on the quality of chair and are quite tightly packed together. There were several little places to buy drinks or water - nothing fancy. This beach is bigger than the beach in Nafphlio. We spent an enjoyable few afternoons here swimming!
