Read moreStopped off at Prasonisi Beach on our Island tour. It was so lovely to come and see this place and experience the sights here.
Very easy to find and get to, though as you travel off the main road, it seems like your on a road to nowhere!🤷♂️🤣🤣 as its quite away to the beach.
Each hill we came to the top of, we were expecting the wow factor of👀 seeing the sea and beach.
There was this industrial works factory that we passed on they way, in the middle of nowhere! It reminded me of a James Bond film😀 as that land was very barron here.
Finally, as we came around a bend in the road, there it was! Amazing to see on a lovely day😎 It was exciting, we could see many sails, parachutes, so many different colours, changing the sky line, as the operators kite surfing🏄 maneuvered the strong waves and wind, trying to avoid each of their runs!😱
It's indicated by a sign, to the left is flat Sea and to the right is waves.

The beach is naturally divided to a west and an east part which are used for these activities. Only a small part on the east side is allowed to be used for swimming, where there are some umbrellas and sunbeds (12€ per set). The water is clean but as it is always very windy, it is possible that you will not enjoy swimming here or at least relaxing on the sunbeds, as the sand is constantly whipping you! Across of the beach, there is Prassonissi island. If you are feeling adventurous, you can reach it by swimming or walking (water reaches your chest). Next to the parking area, there are some restaurants and I also saw a sign for a groceries store. The drive from Rhodes city is approximately 2 hours, taking the...
