Oasis Hotel Prasonisi — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Great place for kitesurfers! Right next to the beach and great equipment storage, drying and washing facilities. The pool area is nicely protected from the wind and really feels like an Oasis away from the noise & commotion.

Really clean and attentive staff! George ( I think was the manager’s name) goes above and beyond, he does a great job tending to everyone. The room smells really nice and I love the bamboo touch on the ceilings.

The food was great too and they even had more vegetarian options then a lot of other restaurants.

The only thing I would have thought would have been even nicer is that the pool facility has access to the kitesurf gear area. There is a door and they closed it, probably due to sand getting in the pool or other reasons. It would have been handy to not have to go around the building to get to the gear. In Aug 2023 I stayed at Oasis Hotel Prasonisi and was robbed. My wallet with my ID card was stolen from the room safe. The wallet contained an AirTag that suddenly went offline and was never located again, pointing to a deliberate theft. The hotel staff offered me no support, showed no interest in the case, and I did not hear even a single word of apology or any promise to investigate. Without an ID I was not allowed to board my flight, so I had to quickly arrange alternative accommodation. The hotel staff provided me no assistance. Only thanks to the hospitality of the Lighthouse owners was I able to find a safe place to stay. Loved to stay there for kitesurfing, super friendly people, the rooms were perfectly cleaned every day including multiple times a day the pool area. I just recommend to exchange the coffee machine for the breakfast buffet, it is awful - we ordered from the bar there better coffee for 3,20€ every morning which I think shouldn’t be the case. Any filter coffee would have done it but this full automatic machine is the worst and it uses milk powder. The kite cleaning area lacks some space to wrap and pack your kite in a non-sandy dry way but you can wash and hang your stuff. And you can walk 1 min to the beach spot.
