Paralia Mavro Lithari — Attraction in Municipality of Saronikos

I think on Google it lists there being 3 bars and a couple of beach areas but it has a joined up feel that is quite nice. All three bars have covered reclined areas that unify the whole beach front. They don’t have the benches right on the beach which is nice. There is plenty of parking at the back and if your early enough you can get your car under one of the many trees that can mean your not coming back to an oven. It has changing facilities, clean toilets and showers dotted around the back of the benches as well. I didn’t try the food so can’t comment or put up a 5 star. The beach is really cool. Beach bars are not too pricey and have lots of sunbeds. Beach itself very clean and well taken care of. Saronida is quite far away from the city centre so it is difficult to get to it via public transport. Easy to access with a car. There is enough space for parking, but the later it gets the harder it is to find a decent spot to park and sit on the beach. It's recommended to go there early between 8:00 - 11:00. ΜΟΛΥΣΜΕΝΗ Η ΠΑΡΑΛΙΑ ΣΤΟ ΜΑΥΡΟ ΛΙΘΑΡΙ

Στις 7 / 11 / 2023 Ομάδα του ΠΑΚΟΕ επισκέφθηκε την ευρύτερη περιοχή, Μαύρο Λιθαρι & πραγματοποίησε επιτόπιες μετρήσεις κάνοντας δειγματοληψίες νερών κολύμβησης (βλέπε χάρτη)

Από τους πίνακες των αποτελεσμάτων και τις φωτογραφίες που έγινε λήψη διαπιστώνονται τα παρακάτω: Η ημερομηνία που έγιναν οι δειγματοληψίες (7-11-23) ήταν μια μέρα φθινοπωρινή χωρίς κολυμβητές , οπότε η ύπαρξη μικροβίων ( πάνω από το ανώτατο όριο) δικαιολογείται μόνο από ανθρώπινη δραστηριότητα . Το εξασθενές Χρώμιο σχεδόν σε ορισμένα δείγματα είναι διπλάσιο του ορίου. Αυτό εξηγείται μόνο εάν στην θάλασσα πέσουν απόβλητα βιομηχανικών και ερευνητικών δραστηριοτήτων. Γενικά διαπιστώνεται παρά το γεγονός ότι δεν βρισκόμαστε σε κολυμβητική περίοδο υπάρχει πρόβλημα...
