Beach is nice but unfortunately council is not taken care of it during the last years/decade. I have been visiting this beach annually from late 80s when I was a kid so I have seen it in a much better state. Firstly, there is a stream that lots of rubbish will end up in the sea and on the beach after a rain, no traps or filters have been installed so you will have bottles and rubbish and it will stink too. Secondly, the sand doesn't have the richness that used to have few years ago (council used to bring lorries full of sand to recover the quantity that wind/sea had removed but that's not the case the last decade) Third issue is that busses terminate at the area so it can become very crowdy and dirty with cigarettes all over the beach (that's because people visiting the beach have no respect to the area so not a fault of the beach), maybe council should place few (or many) signs to remind visitors not to leave cigarettes or trash on the beach. Also, assign few people to properly clean the beach on a seasonal basis. Beach is nice, people need to change their attitude and council...
Read moreIt's an OK public beach with a huge amount of traffic noise. Unkept umbrellas. Plastic bottle tops, cigarette butts and other rubbish that litters the sand along with rotting sea grass in many places. A large storm drain empties onto one end of the beach. A bit ugly when looking inland from the water. Is not your tranquil holiday escape for sure and is by far not a very beautiful place even though photos might suggest. I still came most days on my visit as it's...

Lastly it doesn’t seem like the local authorities are taking care of the beach because it has a fair amount of litter, and even the platform that’s made out of cement is destroyed and broken into pieces, with many of them submerged and weathered (unfortunately couldn’t post...
