Agios Pavlos beach — Attraction in Municipality of Sfakia

We (four friends) took a small fast boat from Agia Roumeli in South Crete to Agios Pavlos.

The captain came back to collect us in the afternoon. Not at the exact agreed time but time here is not exact so do relax and join the stress-free local mood while enjoying swimming in the crystal clear waters of this picturesque beach or a lovely meal at the single quirky fish taverna.

If you are a religious WiFi observer you will discover that the posted password is only a joke. There is no WiFi so do dare not to share this amazing experience until later.

You can also visit the historic nearby church to pray that captain Spyros delays his return till the sunset.

partiti da kissamos dove abbiamo l' hotel, abbiamo affrontato 2 ore e mezza di strada a dir poco impegnativa, con curve, tornanti e tratti non asfalatati, ma fin qui, nulla di nuovo per l' isola di creta... arrivati fino all'ultimo punto percorribile in auto, abbiamo scoperto che dopo le suddette 2 ore e mezza di viaggio su strade pessime, avremmo dovuto fare altri 50 minuti a piedi dalla cima di una montagna dove abbiamo dovuto lasciare la macchina. il percorso è così accidentato e scosceso che è percorribile solo se attrezzati per fare trekking, mentre noi eravamo equipaggiati solo con infradito e maschere per lo snorkeling, inoltre serpeggia in mezza ad allevamenti di api per il miele misto ovviamente ad una vastissima di varietà di insetti volanti dall' aspetto a dir poco inquietante!... estremamente delusi abbiamo riaffrontato la strada terribile e ce ne siamo tornati a kissamos. forse dovrebbe essere resa più esplicita la difficoltà nel raggiungere questi luoghi quando si imposta una meta su...
