Favourite beach on the west coast of Sithonia! It is a large beach with both quiet areas as well as more animated (next to the beach bar which also plays music). The sand is relatively fine and the water is crystal clear, without any rocks. Make sure to bring your own umbrella. The road there is not the best, as the last section is a dirt road, but you can slowly get to the parking area, which is very spacious.

Lovely experience consisting of a clean beach and water full of beautiful fish and corals. Easy parking and big space along the beach with no so many people. The bar is amazing, too, with reasonable prices and polite staff and good music. Totally recommend for a peaceful yet fun vacation.

Absolutely beautiful beach. We stopped hear on the Sunshine Cruise and the pictures are of the reef nearby. There was a bar on the beach but did not use this so don't know on costs etc. Beaches are better on the Sinthonia peninsula than Kassandra.

Aretes Beach is a true natural wonder. The crystal-clear waters, soft golden sand, and the dramatic rock formations create a postcard-perfect setting. It's a place where you can feel truly connected to nature. Unfortunately, the beach's growing popularity has led to overcrowding, especially during peak season. Despite the crowds, Aretes still manages to retain some of its charm. The water is consistently refreshing, and there are plenty of opportunities for snorkeling and exploring the rocky coves. If you're lucky enough to visit during a less crowded time, you'll be rewarded with a truly unforgettable experience. I strongly recommend visiting early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the busiest times. A little extra effort is worth it to enjoy this stunning beach in...

A wonderful beach with sparkling clear water, literally glittery and simply magical. Can get a bit crowded but still very manageable and there are lovely taverns nearby. The only thing that sort of ruins the fun, is that there are many boats around, which affects the natural water quality unfortunately. I would recommend visiting Aretes during...
