Beach Review:
The beach itself is undeniably beautiful, offering pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that make for an idyllic seaside experience. However, the overall experience is significantly marred by poor management practices that detract from what could be a perfect day out.
A major downside is the management's discriminatory approach to seating arrangements, especially if you're visiting with children. Families are invariably allocated less desirable spots, as seating is determined by a selector at the entrance. This lack of choice is frustrating, particularly when you're seeking a pleasant and convenient location for your family.
The pricing structure is another drawback. This beach is notably more expensive than others in the area and throughout Greece. The closer you want to sit to the water, the more you'll have to pay, which feels like an unnecessary premium. Additionally, there's a per-person charge, which can quickly add up, making a day at the beach an expensive outing.
While the beach itself is stunning, these management issues and high costs make it difficult to recommend wholeheartedly. Considering there are equally beautiful beaches nearby that offer a better overall experience and more reasonable pricing, you might want to explore those...
Read moreThe only good thing about this beach is the restaurant — staff there are polite, friendly, and the food is very good. The beach staff are rude and only care about taking your money. We asked for spots under the trees, were told they were “reserved,” but they stayed empty for hours and were later taken by people with no reservation. We had a cooler bag with only documents and money, yet staff kept accusing us of hiding drinks, even though we spent more than €200 at their restaurant (+ more than 100 euros for umbrellas). When we asked for extra ice for bottled water bought there, they accused us again of bringing it from outside. Other guests had fruits and cooler bags from the outside, without a problem, so it felt like the staff had something with us.
The beach doesn’t even have sand and is not among the most beautiful in the area. Left a...
Read moreA great place to be on Sithonia. Yes there's a 5 minute drive on a steep dirt road but a problem only if you're a lousy driver, and don't come with your Porsche 911, of course. Yes, it can be expensive to enjoy the beach (first 2 rows 30€ per set, second rows 23€ per set and the rest is 15€ per set, umbrella and two sunbeds) - but you get a very clean sand, polite and respectful staff, toilets which are probably cleaner than the one at your house. The ONLY drawback and annoyance are the many wasps, really irritating. Other than this is a perfect place...
