Lovely beach which is totally worth visiting if you are in the area. My review will be focused on the road there, because the other reviews are contradictory. The road is 50/50 dirt and tarmac. Unless you drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini you won't have any issues reaching the destination. Even the dirt road is in a good condition (as of 16/06/25). We went to the A-Maze bar which is in the middle of the main beach. Just next to it there is parking. Maybe in the high season it won't fit all the cars, but I don't expect issues if you arrive early. The only problem is the navigation to the beach. I used Waze but it made me go in circles on the so-called "ghost town" streets. Then I switched to Google maps which led me to the middle of nowhere. My suggestion is to follow the ROAD SIGNS which give directions to the camping, apartments for rent etc. As you can imagine they are on the beach... At some point you won't see those signs anymore but you will be close enough to the parking to make it yourself. You can trust your nav for the final...
Read moreOne of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the east coast of Sithonia. Located near Kalamitsi and Paralia Sykia. It's not by the road, but it's so interesting to reach the beach thru the network of streets called Ghost City. On the way to the beach you should follow Kriaritsi signboards, otherwise you can get lost in the labyrinth of streets. The beach is not for small children. Crystal clear water, beautiful view of Athos. The beach is long almost 1km, and enough wide. Kriaritsi consist of main beach and few coves separated by rocks. Some of the coves are sometimes occupied by nudes. The main beach has two bars and lage camping area. Vanilla bar cafe is great. Service is very fast, staff is very kind and the music is fantastic. All...
Read moreAmazing beach. The water is beautifully turquoise and clear. It's quite deep water which is great for swimmers as it gets too deep to stand about 10 - 15m off the shore. The sand is coarse but still smooth which makes it really easy to wipe off and not get stuck to everything! Food and drinks are really affordable! The road to get here is a little beaten up but it's worth it once you arrive. Breathtaking! Also, as this side of the Aegean sea feeds into the Black sea, the water is quite salty and really easy to float on! Would definitely come back to Halkidiki for this beach alone. The man who runs the beach bar on the left of the shore is so friendly and helpful. Would...
