Fantastic. Perfect beach for teenagers and young adults. Perfect beach for people who enjoy the sun and perfect for people who prefer cooler temperature. Providing two sides, one with shade and cold air and one which gets all the sunlight, Foneas Beach has nothing to make you think twice about visiting it. Filled with so many feautures, it makes the ideal beach for people 13-25 years old. From Caves to 20m jumps, it can keep you entertained from sunrise to sunset. Foneas Beach also has a big rock that you can climb and jump from into the water which is about 40-50m tall. You can jump from it from various points ranging from 1-6 meter jumps. You don't even have to worry about careying your luggage because there is a huge parking next to the beach covered by trees and rocks and the lovely snack and coffee place next to it. Another highlight of the beach is that it has big rocks instead of sand which is kind of interesting for people who aren't used to it. There is also a mini shower for anyone who wants to tame a shower there. I would for sure visit it again if I ever visit the place again. Lovely place.
Tip: get sea shoes from the nearest supermarket, you are going to need them if you want to climb and jump...

It does get busier during the summer, so earlier in the day is your best bet for a quieter spot. The beach is pebble-stoned (not sandy), and there’s a large rock in the water that gives the whole area a rugged, postcard-worthy feel. If you have a kayak or inflatable paddle board, bring it — paddling along the cliffs is beautiful and super peaceful. Easy to access, very scenic, and worth visiting at least once during your stay...
Read moreA visually striking beach and a must-experience but you better have sneakers or really love large pebbles because they're everywhere. This is no sandy beach. The water gets deep fast! Also, if there are waves or wind, expect to be tossed around by the water so steer clear of rocks, especially with young children. I'm still glad we checked it out though, it was impressive, especially the caves. There is some parking down by the beach but many folks just park up by the road and just walk down. There is a popular cantina by the beach that seems to offer great street food (gyros,...
