I spent 3 nights at the hotel in August 2022 in a panoramic double cave room.

The room was located on the second and last floor of the hotel and was accessible from two different balconies both facing Uchisar castle. Moreover, the room was also right below the panoramic terrace of the hotel which made it very convenient for us to go upstairs and enjoy the view from the rooftop. The room itself was fine with the only two negative points being represented by the below-standard cleanliness of the shower and a broken glass in bathroom window ( the window worked perfectly nonetheless - a small piece of glass was simply missing but it looked a bit dangerous for one's hands ).

The hotel offers its guests a castle-facing, small, round pool as an additional facility.

Staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Buffet turkish breakfast is served at the hotel.

I recommend the place!

This is possibly the friendliest and most fun/easy caves in Greece for self exploration. Usually dry inside, no annoying dripping, no scary sounds, not particularly slippery rocks, you just walk down as much as you fancy. Even with just the light from your cell phone and no equipment you can easily have a great little highlight for you and your kids. Or even grandparents.

A few bats, nothing scary, not much bat poop either. The further down you get the more impressive the features. There are a few ropes to help but you don't really need them.

NOTE: the sign for the cave is terrible, you need to find the path going down immediately...

The cave entrance is hidden behind the ridge along the main path. Once you reach the derelict signs (first photo of this review) a well defined path starts twisting down for about 50 meters. As others have mentioned, this is not a touristy cave. No signs, steps, light or anything. Bring a good headlamp, good hiking shoes and clothes for crawling. There are some ropes from the entrance going inside, but it...
