Agioi Anargyroi Valley: A Cool Escape with Room for Improvement ​The Agioi Anargyroi Valley in Serres is a true oasis, especially during the hot summer months. The lush greenery and the flowing river create a wonderfully cool and tranquil atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to escape the heat and enjoy nature. It's a fantastic place for a walk, a family picnic, or just to relax and breathe in the fresh air. It truly is the "green lung" of the city. ​However, the area isn't without its flaws. We noticed that some parts of the valley seem a bit neglected, giving a slightly abandoned feel. The most significant issue, though, is the lighting at night. It's quite poor, which detracts from the evening atmosphere and can make it feel a bit unsafe. It's a shame, as with better lighting, the valley could be a spectacular evening destination. ​Overall, it's a great place for a daytime visit to enjoy the natural beauty and coolness, but it could be so much more with a little more care and attention to maintenance and lighting. ​

Uns fiel auf, dass einige Teile des Tals etwas vernachlässigt wirken und einen leicht verlassenen Eindruck machen. Das größte Problem ist jedoch die Beleuchtung am Abend. Sie ist ziemlich schlecht, was der abendlichen Atmosphäre schadet und ein etwas unsicheres Gefühl vermitteln kann. Es ist schade, denn mit besserer Beleuchtung könnte das Tal auch am Abend ein spektakuläres Ausflugsziel sein. ​Insgesamt ist es ein großartiger Ort für einen Tagesausflug, um die natürliche Schönheit und die Kühle zu genießen.
