Paralia Glisteri — Attraction in Skopelos Municipality

Very beautiful setting and the most beautifully set up beach bar I've seen on the island. Nice stuff. I didn't like the loud music (too loud) and the choice (Abba in a loop or 80s and 90s music, nothing new). It makes people nostalgic. I would have appreciated a much younger summer vibe if I am supposed to listen to some loud music anyway. The water was colder than in other parts (Kastani, for instance) and because of the barrier they put at the end of the bay, there is no real cleaning of the water. Actually you can see the solar cream in water, it is hardly washed away by the waves/currents, which was a minus for us. The kids made some snorkeling but they complained about the "foggy" water because of the solar cream from the people. Really unpleasant! Also, you have the feeling of being closed in a large pool. Good beach bar in a very handsome beach setting. The beach is an actual small gulf completely part of the area at disposal with panniers at the end preventing boats to gone in. The waters of the pebble beach is the usual clean, with fishes around, almost absent current. It does go deeper after few knee tees but the actual water depth is no deep at all. Very good place for swimming. The beach and bar/restaurant are easily accessible from within the establishment. The beach sunbeds bar service is air high standard, with young and polite staff always attentive and caring. The beds are clean every time a guest leave, this is rare and very commendable, well done. One of the best beaches on the island. Had a great time, water is calm in the closed bay and the beach bar is fanstastic. the owner was super helpful and consistantly cleaned the beach to keep things wonderful. We stayed almost all day and the evening offered an amazing experience, excellent music selections throught the day, not loud but relaxing and enjoyable. Food was also really good, had two different salads and two fredo capuccinos. we were offered a free fruit plater which was a fantastic gesture from the beach bar. Before we left around 8 pm the staff cleaned the beach, colleted any garbage and disinfected the cushions on the beds. Could I give them 10...
