Beautiful viewing point close to a monastery. It's a touristic place but with a relaxed vibe and enough space to Breathe. At the parking close to the cross you can get refreshments and sit down on the shade. There's also a donkey next to the side of the road who you can pet or give food if you drop some coins in the tin can placed next to it. The donkeys owner has a food (?) stand close to the Donkey and is about as obnoxious as a person can get.

Amazing lookout and beautiful small monastery to visit and admire. The lookout does not include shipwreck beach but is stunning in its own right. There was quite a bit of parking available and a very short walk to the lookout. Small gifts available for purchase at the monastery.

Der Lookout “At the Cross” hinter dem Kloster auf Zakynthos ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp. Von hier aus hat man eine spektakuläre Aussicht über die Insel, das glitzernde Ionische Meer und die umliegende Natur. Mit unserer Drohne konnten wir dann auch Schipwreck Beach sehen. Der Kontrast zwischen der friedlichen Atmosphäre des Klosters und der beeindruckenden Weite der Landschaft macht diesen Ort besonders magisch. Besonders zum Sonnenuntergang ist der Ausblick einfach unvergesslich – ein Moment purer Ruhe und Schönheit. Ein absolutes Highlight abseits der typischen Touristenpfade! Really not worth the travel. We thought we would be able to see the shipwreck it couldn’t see it unless we missed something. The views are OK. There is a monastery and a few old building but nothing exciting. We ended up driving down to the car park where you can see the shipwreck which is a better view...
