Absolutely come here..BUT, do not believe ANYONE who tells you its an easy and manageable hike...TAKE THE LANCHA!! We did hike...actually added this destination as our final stop after hiking San Miguel Mirador, the Archeological site, Chechenal Beach and the Museo Mundo Maya.. There is no trail.that leads to Jorge's place..we tried...we scaled up the fence along the mountainside .. we ended up inside the forest..its a nice hike..but NO JORGE! We hiked back down along the fence line and called Jorge's place who sent a lancha to the little bay to pick us up. Once here, relax on hammocks, tables and chairs, have a cold drink, eat some food..we ate pasta with meat sauce! So delicious!! The water is clean and warm .. the ropes and platform offer a more adventurous experience! 😊

Great spot to chill on Lake Petén. There is a couple of rope swings, as the name would imply, as well as a diving platform. There are numerous sitting areas including hammocks and tables with lots of shade available. Entry fee is 25qtz per person. They sell alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks at decent prices. Getting here is by way of boat, hire a water taxi or by a leisurely kayak paddle. There are numerous kayak rentals in Flores. Water quality seems good here, saw lots of fish and no floating trash. Did see two huge iguanas in the trees.

What a sweet little find! A five minute lancha ride from Flores Island this place is not to be missed. The water is warm—dive in. There are platforms with chairs and hammocks, a diving board (like an actual board, not a spring board) and two rope swings. You could bring a lunch (I don’t recall if they have a restaurant, but I saw people drinking margaritas) and hang out all day if you wanted. There is lots of shade and they only charge a q50 entrance fee. We rented inner tubes for q10 and that was super fun. Highly recommend!

We paid Q135 for a boat ride from Flores to Jorge‘s Rope Swing and back. I think there are cheaper options when you know where and how to ask. Entry is Q25 per person. Our boat driver told us that you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks, at least they shouldn‘t see it at the entrance. Once you‘re in, it‘s fine. We brought our own pizza leftovers and a bottle of water, nobody cared ;) Swimming tubes cost Q10 each. View is really nice, rope swing is fun. Hammocks were not too comfortable. All in all, a nice experience.

Fun swing and nice location. The board could hafe a fix. The drinks are quite cheap. Definitely a nice place to stay. Best come here by cayak. You can rent these for 25q/h or 100q/d in Flores. But you can also take a water taxi. It's also a nice location for some instagram shots. Make sure to come early to avoid having to many people here.

Loved this so much! We took the boat from Flores island to the rope swing for 50Q for a round trip, and you pay 25Q to enter. You can use the rope to swing into the water, jump from the platform or just chill in the water. You are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages, but you can buy some there. Great views and great fun!
