My experience was okay. The rides were more carnival style than an actual theme park. The restaurants were nice. The reason why I am giving this one star is because of the animals that are in capture. Specifically the two tigers; When I walked up to the cages the tigers were beautiful and breathtaking. As I got closer I began to realize that the cages they were in were smaller or the same size as an average house. A house! These huge athletic animals in cages where you could barely fit one tree and a kiddie sized pool. I asked the guard if they were ever given more space to roam or ever left the cage and he said “never”. One of the tigers seemed impatient and bored, he was walking around the cage over and over; nonstop as if he was a prisoner who was losing his sanity. It was much more disappointing after, when I took the train ride around the park and realized that behind the tiger cages were acres and acres of beautiful green land. It’s dumbfounding to think that with all that land they could not have given those tigers more space to be, well, tigers? Again, your experience at this theme park will probably be okay, your kids will enjoy the rides and the shows. You will continuously spend your money on snacks, food and souvenirs just like they want you to. But you’ll soon realize that with all the money they spent on the design, architecture and food they very much could have and should give those animals that are captured more land to enjoy...
Read moreClean and very fun rides. If you take your time to enjoy walking around it will be ok to enjoy.
Entree is Q100 (around $14) and there are two ways you can ride all rides. One is called tickets and its transferable to the whole family (12 rides meaning if you have a family of 4, you can ride 3 rides before you need to get more tickets) and bracelets where its unlimited, which are both worth Q50 (around $6-8).
Has one of the most unique rides called "avalanche" which features many spins which will sure to make a man feel dizzy (or get a headache). One issue however is due to Guatemalans being short (1.60m) the ride will feel even more tiny for people who are 1.8m or taller.
Features also a kiddie park where kids will sure to be happy with all its fun rides. From small rollercoasters, a small water boat shoot em up (you shoot other people and pedestrians with water) and other fun places to go.
Food wise it is very carnival like, please keep in mind you need to pay in a stall what you want to consume before you can go get your food. During the average time to eat there is some entertainment (i got singing when i was there).
Overall if you have time and want to go somewhere unique, go...
