Vazon Bay — Attraction in Castel

Clear waters, not too busy (even though school holidays) and has a nice cafe. One of the two main tourist beaches on Guernsey. Easy to get to by bus. The water here was warmer than the other main tourist beach a Pembroke Bay so would recommend it for swimmers. There's also a surf school here. Be warned, it's very shallow with a large tide so make sure you're prepared to walk a long way to the water. A cool beach, although at the hot afternoon, the river have shifted far off the bank but still maintain some waves that the kids were manoeuvring with their surf board.
