Read moreWe visited recently and visited the shell beach kiosk..we specifically went there due to them now selling alcoholic drinks. When we arrived half an hour before they closed, we were told they had stopped serving. Then they changed their minds and let us but the Woman (called Michelle) spoke abruptly to us like we were children (not friendly at all) so 15mins goes by and a couple sat on table next to us and they got served alcohol with a happy attitude and no mention they had stopped serving!!!! Obviously depends if your face fits!!

Read moreWe were in a self catering cottage, beautifully equipped & appointed with comfortable bed & sofa. Hospitality on Herm is good with two pubs and a hotel for dining out with a tiny shop but you can order groceries to be delivered from Guernsey (we took basics with us). Unfortunately due to a communication issue we were not advised of the closure of all eateries & shop on 1/11/21 however the Manager arranged for an extremely generous delivery of food the next day and a free night accommodation.
