Museo Comayagua y Arqueológico — Attraction in Comayagua

A must visit, the displays are of superior quality, some of the best pieces I have seen anywhere including compared to Chicago and New York museums. Obviously small but the pieces and history represented is spectacular. This is the first time I have seen such high quality, pre Mayan pieces, from the Lenca indigenous history of Honduras. Many pieces were original concepts to me and the detail was incredible. This museum also includes Colonial era history as it should, emphasizing Comayagua's and Honduras' historical significance.
