Playa de Cienaguita — Attraction in Puerto Cortés

The beach is very quiet but it might have been the time of year I visite but there was a lot of trash. The vendors and restaurants were not open either at all until the weekend or after 5 or 6pm during prime mosquito time (overwhelming amount). The water is warm and it felt like a safe beach over all. Lots of stray dogs who will follow you for food, water or just attention(they were always peaceful, even when I fed them, please be kind❤️ you might be the only one that ever treats them...

It's a nice, large beach. There's certainly enough space for you to set up a barbeque, umbrellas or anything you'd like.

Unfortunately there is garbage in some areas, mostly where restaurants, bars, and hotels...

La playa tiene muchas plantas que pican, en lo personal no me pasó nada. Sin embargo en las 3 horas que estuve ahí por lo menos 5 personas salieron del agua porque los había picado esa planta. Niños llorando y adultos gritando! Pero comparada con otras playas estaba limpia. Tiene puestos de comida y bebida accesibles. No hay muchos árboles para cubrirse del...
