I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting a restaurant with a poolside setting, and I must say, it was far from enjoyable. The combination of subpar service and an unkempt pool left me utterly disappointed. Allow me to elaborate on the numerous issues I encountered during my visit.
To begin with, the pool itself was in a deplorable state. It was disheartening to see the pool water filled with algae and dirt, clearly neglected and devoid of proper maintenance. Such conditions are not only unappealing but also raise concerns regarding hygiene and guest safety.
The disappointment continued when we ordered a vegan antipasti plate, only to be served a completely different dish that did not match the description on the menu. The lack of attention to detail and disregard for dietary preferences was both frustrating and unprofessional. Additionally, the head waiter failed to inform us about the contents of the dish we had ordered, leaving us in a state of confusion and dissatisfaction.
Furthermore, what added insult to injury was the fact that we were expected to pay for the welcome drink. It is customary for a welcome drink to be complimentary, and it was disheartening to see this basic gesture of hospitality being overlooked. This incident further exemplified the restaurant's lack of regard for customer satisfaction.
Overall, my experience at the poolside restaurant was extremely disappointing. The unsanitary pool conditions, the mismatched food, and the additional charge for a welcome drink all contributed to a lackluster visit. I had hoped for a pleasant dining experience, but instead, I was met with disappointment and frustration. I strongly advise others to reconsider visiting this establishment until significant improvements are made in their service and...
Read moreWe visited the restaurant on a Sunday with a large group (9 adults plus 2 kids). Location is nice, with tables arranged in a large terrace near the pool. Immediately after arriving, we were welcomed by our waiter Zsuzsi who delivered an outstanding service throughout our stay. We started with appetisers, empanadas and flatbread, which were quite tasty accompanied by two bottles of a nice white wine (Sir IrsaI 2016). Being originally from Argentine and knowing that the winery and restaurant owner have an Argentinean connection, I was looking forward to the barbeque (parrillada) and we ordered two large ones. Unfortunately, it did not live to my expectations as it had only few pieces of meat and it was mostly pork, chorizos and vegetables. In my country, this will be an example of a very bad parrillada. To accompany the barbeque we ordered one bottle of Fantastico Malbec which was quite good. Considering the price of all dishes, I was expecting a much higher quality food but I was disappointed (price per person including entry level wine HUF 23.000) The highlight of the place was the friendly service provided by Zsuzsi and the rest of the team but unfortunately this is not a place that reflects Argentinean...

My initial visit to Haraszthy Pincészet was truly memorable. We were graciously welcomed by the owner, who also owns wineries in Argentina and Spain. He took us on a delightful tour of their state-of-the-art winery, showcasing the expertise and passion that goes into every bottle.
One of the highlights is their beautiful amphitheater, where summer visitors can enjoy entertainment while sipping on their exquisite wines. I recommend bringing your bathing suit to fully enjoy the experience.
