Janus Xantos Lookout (Sphere Lookout) — Attraction in Fonyódi járás

The car park to this place is only available for a few cars (up to 20 add cars). Limited access for cars to the hills, was not clear information how. From the car par it is about 400 metres to the 'gombkilato'. Beautiful buffet on the top of the hill and free toilet. Plenty of brand new facilities like adventure park or bobsleigh.. Really reasonable prices! Everything is great, but unfortunately to the viewpoint there's no direct access to people with physical disabilities. Only stairs. My partner (with help) could make it but with wheelchair I have doubts about how can they manage. Most probably can't... Pretty shame as it is wonderful with a superb view over the lake! Can't say anything bad, really just the access for people with disabilities... Great job, highly recommended for...

A BALATONBOGLÁRI GÖMBKILÁTÓ szintén az egyik kedvenc balatoni helyünk. Igazából, ha a Balcsin jártunk, általában ide is mindig ellátogattunk. Régebben még ingyenes volt, most már azt hiszem, fizetős lett. Jó hosszú ideig sajnos felújítás alatt is állt, de most már biztosan látogatható.

Mindig is tetszett a tökéletes gömb formája, a kilátás belőle, vagy az alatta elterülő szépen rendben tartott füves, fákkal tarkított terület, ahol a gyerekek szabadon futkározhatnak. Szép hely, jó hely.

Azt hiszem, 2011-ben jártunk ott utoljára, úgy hogy most már hiányzik. Ráadásul a családunk kisebbik tagja még nem is látta, tehát újra fel kell keresnünk :) és akkor a Várdombi Játékparkba is benézünk majd, ami közvetlenül mellette épült fel.

augusztusa - jelentem, a kisebbik gyermekünkkel is ellátogattunk végre a balatonboglári Gömbkilátóhoz. Ez egy olyan hely, amit mindenkinek ismernie kell! Tényleg fizetős lett, de potom pénz és gondoljunk arra, hogy a pénz jó helyre kerül, ha a kilátó karbantartására fordítják.

A környéke is szuper, a gyerekek remekül kiszaladgálhatják magukat, de piknikezni is lehet. Amióta nem jártunk ott, még vendéglátóegységet és Várdombi kalandparkot is létrehoztak a kilátótól nem messze.

Még mindig az egyik kedvenc helyem Magyarországon :)

I liked the Lookout Sphere, it was an interesting construction. The view to Lake Balaton is spectacular with Hill Badacsony on the other side of the Lake. I didn't like that the parking lot is located at the valley, so we had to walk up, which is normally not an issue, but with a small children it can be challenging.
