Nádasdy Ferenc Museum Sarvar — Attraction in Sárvári járás

Well, the historical meaning of the castle is clear. We were interested to visit this place. BUT. The staff at the museum was unbelievable unfriendly. They are not there for tourists, tourists are borhering them. OK, I can imagine, they are not feeling satisfied in their job. Not my problem, but anyway, can accept it. But can somebody explain me, why there is an 2nd world war exhibion in the castle? Without any even little explanation the connection between this place and the war? Gosh, we have come to see the Sarvar castle, where Ersebeth Bathory was “active” a lot regarding her bloody history and we have found ONE portrait of her with a short description who’s woman she was and what she was supposted to take care of? And if you want to know a bit of what you see there (f.e. furniture) it is written on a broken paper laying on it (you can even not see it, because is laying) and just in hungarian language? Well, I was unsatisfied, I was sad, I was unhappy and all the feelings...

Budapestről érkeztünk látogatóba, hogy megtekintsük Sárvár híres várát. A várban található kiállítás csodálatos volt, az ott dolgozó kollégák pedig rendkívül kedvesek és segítőkészek voltak.

Ami miatt sajnos mégsem tudom kiválóra értékelni az élményt, az az, hogy egyszerűen bezártak minket a várba, pontosabban a belső udvarba, miközben éppen az ott található szoborgyűjteményt szerettük volna megtekinteni.

A várban kihelyezett tájékoztató szerint az udvaron található szoborgyűjteményt 16:00 óráig lehet megtekinteni. Mi 15:00 óra körül léptünk ki az udvarra, nem sokkal később aztán találkoztunk egy úrral aki biciklin közeledett felénk. Az úr megkért, hogy hagyjuk el a vár területét mert záróra van, illetve arra is külön megkért, hogy ne abba az irányba menjünk amerre ő, hanem a másik kijárat felé, ami még nincs bezárva. Így is tettünk, az ajtóhoz érve azonban azt tapasztaluk, hogy azt már bezárták előttünk. Próbáltunk dörömbölni és kiabálni, hátha meghall minket valaki vagy a várban, vagy a fal túloldalán, de senki nem érkezett a segítségünkre.

Hirtelen eszembe jutott, hogy az udvari séta közben mintha láttam volna egy hátsó kaput, amiről úgy tűnt, hogy belülről is ki lehet nyitni. Végül itt tudtunk kimenni, de nagyon kellemetlen élmény volt nem tudni hogyan fogunk kijutni egy több méter magas fallal körbevett várból Szilveszter estéjén miközben sehol egy teremtett lélek nem volt aki segíteni tudott volna.

Szeretném hangsúlyozni, hogy az értékelésem nem a várnak és nem is az ott található kiállításnak szól, hanem annak a rossz élménynek amit a szervezés miatt voltam kénytelen megtapasztalni. Remélem, hogy a visszajelzésem segít abban hogy másoknak ne legyen hasonló rossz...
