There's a limited amount to do here- it's good for about an hour. You can wander around and look at the planes, some of them you can go in to, but that's about it. Definitely interesting you care about aviation.

To get to the park from the 100E bus, walk along the front of the airport to the very end, and there's stairs down to the lower level. Follow the covered walkway and you'll get there in about 10 minutes.

There's no food other than some snacks at the park, so either grab food at the airport or bring something.

I also did the bus tour of the airport, which takes about 3 hours. They only do the tour in Hungarian; I used Google Translate, which worked good enough to understand the basics of what was said on the tour. You get to watch planes landing right over your head, see the fire station, and then they take you around to see the taxiing area and the runways. Pretty neat stuff, and you get to go to areas you would never be allowed...

This is a wonderful place to visit if you’re a aero enthusiast. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed on all the planes and the major issue (and I do understand I am in Hungary) none of the signs are in English so if you want to enhance your knowledge, it’s difficult but there is only one plane that had posters with information and I guess it pretty self explanatory.

We were chaperoned around the park by a gentleman, who let us into every cockpit of the planes we were allowed on and he seemed nice.

My partner booked a flight simulation experience and I have to say it was 10/10, the gentleman who handles the experience is completely clued on and will let you guide the entire experience. He even mentioned that they were getting an upgrade to their flight simulation in the coming year and I’m not much of a pilot enthusiast, but it seemed like the real deal and I...

The Aeropark Budapest is a nice place next to the Airport , if you interest those Airplanes which was in use in the past ( you can enter to most of these Airplanes) and if you interest those people 's work, whoese work in the Airport. The staff is nice and helpful, and almost everything was fine, I didn’t give 5 stars to the place, because I think, they have some things what I think, they need to develop : the quality of the description of the Airplanes ( only in Hungarian language and just in a A4 photopaper - it has a QR codes, but I didn't scan it), they need to show more Airplanes from the past - but to these they will need more investments, if it will be happening, it will be a 5 stars place. Ps. : we visit it in a sunny afternoon, and it was fun, but I don't think it can be the same, when the...

As an aviation enthusiast, I recommend this aviation museum! It was really cool and fun to see how the planes looked years ago. Loved to go inside of some planes to see the cockpit and the other half of the aircraft. However, I was disappointed about some aircraft’s being closed, but I didn’t let that ruin my day. Also none of the aircraft simulators were working, but maybe you had to pay for them. The gift shop was a bit pricey, but I got a postcard and a magnet for free since I spent a lot of money on the shop and since I had to wait for the cashier. The workers in the shop and aircraft’s were very nice! 100% recommend! (Also while there got to see helicopters land at the airport.)

This is great fun for boys 10+ and parents who are tired of finding new Lego stores to entertain their children. The museum is a yard featuring around 10 retro soviet airplanes. There is also a possibility to take the pilot seat in one of their simulators. Our child enjoyed taking the airbus 320 for a spin around Budapest. I would just recommend to parents not to “cold start” the plane as programming and preparations take a lot of time and kids tend to loose interest. Other planes smell of history and its great to sit in them, especially when an occassional fly-by plane adds to the mood.

Small but nice aviation park. It is justcac10min walk from the international airport, which makes it ideal for a visit right after arrival or before departure, in case you do not have a big luggage with you. The planes are mainly from Soviet era, passenger or transport, (only one mig21 is a military one) which makes them special and rare. It worth spending one hour walking around and entering inside as on few of them is allowed. The drawback is that the texts are in Hungarian. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate to ask them.
