Great museum highlighting Akureyri's diverse industrial history. The museum is absolutely full of interesting objects, photos, machinery and other items with plenty of information in English. The staff are more than willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend this cool museum.

I enjoy looking at technology of the past. This beetroot peeler was a new one on me. 2 floors with handicap accessibility. Enjoyed watching shoemaking video. Too bad shoes are not made here anymore. One thing I noticed was the lack of dust ....anywhere!

We loved it here, it's a beautiful museum with an incredible amount of exhibits, definetely must see for the northern region. Owners are incredibly sweet and kind and keen to show around.
