WARNING!!! DO NOT WALK IN ANY OF BUILDING IN THE AREA if you just hanging in around.

No sign No Office people Shame on this museum people!!!

We were buying magnets in the museum , the reception told we have to pay 2500/ per person for the entering the black house. We explained we didn’t know we have to pay the tickets for 1 min around , no machine or counter. I don’t think this is fair!

If there was a sign about paying, no one will walked in free, doesn’t make sense, how come we walked around without people stopping us, clearly the staff were playing phones and chatting away. People should pay decent money with decent people.

I strongly suggest the Council should check cctv and tell us who were lying about it. I don’t mind coming the Iceland for justice, if they ask.

By the way , 7500 isk for one minute walked around, please think twice before u walk into the historical place where is no staff to greeting you.

I also feel bad for Nonnis who deserve better staff to...

At first I was not too impressed with the museum.paid 1700kr and the first floor of photographs of the industries that used to be in Akureyri and the Icelandic music scene not that interesting for a tourist. However the exhibition downstairs is much better showing the fishing industry, building recreations, old photographs etc. In addition you get to see the historic church and Nonni's house which are nearby. It's worth a short walk up the street to see the restored old houses too. So in the end I was happy...
