We had a great time. The activity took about 1.5 hours with a group of 6 people. There is not much walking involved only about 2 mins between each line and 15 mins at the end. The guys were extremely friendly and engaging and told us little stories about Iceland and Akureyri in between the zips. While I've done many ziplines before I still have a fear of heights and they made me feel safe. I believe they did a great job explaining what to do if you were a first-timer too, and encouraged us to try different poses while sliding. I'd like to add though not to expect km long lines. Compared to what I'm used to in Germany/Hungary/Austria these were relative short ones, with only one longer line.

Today we arrived on a cruise ship and were looking for a nice activity. By chance we came across this offer. 2 guides accompany a relatively small group with fun and friendliness. You walk small distances between the 5 ziplines, almost all of which cross the "Glass River". Why this is called so, you learn on the tour. Very beautiful nature impressions. The longest walk of the tour is about 10 minutes at the end. From the port about 40 minutes walk. There is a supermarket 350m away. We were thrilled. Many thanks also to the two ladies who have led the tour a great way!

I realized I never wrote a review! I visited in June and the crew was fantastic! Our group consisted of my group of four, a solo, and another group of four. The instructors were informative, super nice, and best of all: adventurous. They allowed us to gain our footing on the first line before showing us some tricks and encouraging us to follow suit. With their permission, we started to take off our own lines and it felt like it turned into just a bunch of friends ziplining! Definitely an experience I savor and would recommend.

Best Guides ever. We a travel with a Cruise ship to Akurery and had booked the Zipline Adventure before on https://www.ziplineakureyri.is. It's very easy to book the time slot and so on. Please be on time so that the tour can start punctually Otherwise you standing before closed doors. The Adventure ist easaly rich bei Bus No. A5 and A6 from the bus station Hjalteyrargata / Gránufélagsgata, in the right side after the cruise port exit. It's a free of charge bus service. To start off this review - I just want to state that the instructors we had during our zip lining experience yesterday were amazing. Very kind, they teach you a lot about the area you’re in, and they are good at calming your nerves should this be something you’re nervous to do. The group we had were all great, and all around it was an amazing time. Thank you to the Akureyri Zipline crew for a great experience!

We had an amazing experience joining the 5-line zipline adventure in Akureyri with our kids! The guides were professional, experienced and made us all feel very safe. Everyone in the family loved the adventure and wanted to go again straight away! The tour was a perfect stop and the duration was great, about 1.5 hrs - fitted right into the itinerary for our road trip around Iceland,
