Should be a great experience to visit during winter, I went this summer and would never go again during summer. It was too crowded but the worst part was a couple of icelandic dudes that took over the biggest pool. They literally drove everyone away to a smaller pot with their rude attitute and were splashing water and throwing mud notwithstanding the small crammed space we could afford to cram into which is quite unfair considering we all had to pay 1000kr/10usd/10€ Extra warning: one of them seems to be an owner or relative as he commented he's usually there every day by himself so no chance this would be a one time bad experince with him or...

Located a few minutes away from the parking, you will find a small hut where you can get dressed and leads to a small bath, hot and comfortable. It can fit up to 4 people if you squeeze a little, and on the other side of the construction you have a warmer pool that can easily fit 10 people. There are smaller natural pools as well in the river, but most of them are not deep enough to get your full body inside it. Overall, the place is clean, warm and...

Great spot off the beaten path! We went with our 3-year-old and it was a beautiful, relaxing experience and very affordable! Only 2-3 other people there besides us on a Sunday morning. 1500 IKR per adult and free for children 11...

Private, relaxing, natural hot tub with a changing hut. This place is so secret that only a handful of people had found it while we were there. The larger of the two pools can accommodate about ten people, while the smaller can squeeze two. While enjoying a 30-min dip, I met people from Germany, Canada, Czech Rep, USA, and Poland.

This was one of the top five destinations on our trip to south Iceland. This place was absolutely magical and amazing. The facilities were clean and well taken care of and the lady keeping the place was super nice! The pools water was SO clear and warm 😊 definitely a thing to add to your list of things to do in Iceland.
