Had a great trip up to this hiking "Seat". We came in on a cruise ship and could see it off the front. I would say this is a gnarly hike due to its steepness, but it only took 15 minutes to get up and around 10 down. If you don't like loose surfaces or steep trails, try the trails near the Bundafoss waterfall in town. They are beautiful and easier. The views of Isafjord are awesome. It took me 75 minutes to walk there from the port, so it is doable on your own. This trail with snow/ice on it would be a trail for experienced ice climbers only. Be prepared...
