== History of Ameen Peer Dargah == The masjid is believed to be constructed in 1683. The three centuries of divine wisdom of the place is originally a grave place for the two Sufi saint Perullah Hussaini and Arufulla Hussaini II. Read moreHeard and read a lot about this Dargha. So it was in our plan to visit this one when we did the one day road trip to Vontimitta, Devuni kadapa and other places.
Struggled a little bit to find out the place. It was already noon when we reached this place. Strangely they were open and allowed people to come inside, though the main chamber of the dargah was closed. They told us to follow their customs while inside the dargah, (wear the head cap and the ladies were told to cover their heads) and the people were very good to guide us, explain us everything about the dargah, the history etc.
Very nice and wonderful.
Ajmer dargah was so crowded and utterly chaos, but here nothing of that sort. Calm and quiet. Read that many celebrities do visit this dargah just like the dargah in Ajmer.
Definitely a must visit place if you...
Read moreI have heard some good things about this & they came to be true. The timings are 5:30-10:30AM & 5:00-9:30PM. This dargah is famous for great Sufi saints of thier time. The word 'Ameen peer dargah' is derived from one of the saints, who is believed to have starved (not even water) in the name of God for his entire life. This saint is believed to have more patience & mercy towards the people who come here with a desire. You can see a black marble just after you enter the dargah - Break the coconut with some desire in your heart - it's believed that it will come true .You will get holy water and oil (prayered). The place sounded peaceful. The volunteers are very kind and helpful. They will guide you and provide full information about what...
