Read moreThis is a fairly old, famous & spacious temple. There are three shrines inside the sanctum sanctoram, all in a row. Lakshmi Ammavaru in the left shrine, Ayyavaru (Venkateswara Swamy) in the center and Padmavathi ammavaru in the right one. Flower garland adornment on ayyavaru is always an eye feast.
Different poojas are performed here, I have attached a photo of that list.
Most of the poojaris are nice, but a couple of them are irated.
Apart from the main temple, there are few other small temples inside the compound premises Nagendra swamy Paamu putta Varaaha swamy Hanuman There is a big hall adjacent to main temple where they perform vuyala seva with deepalankarana & homam.
Maintenance & cleanliness is fairly good.
There are few wedding halls, which you can book for marriage purpose.
Car parking is at the back, 2 wheeler parking is on the side of the temple. You may run out of parking spots on special or festival days, though there is a good parking space in the temple compound.
Now the bad part - I have been visiting the temple on every Saturday consecutively for the last 6-7 weeks. What I have noticed is an unpeaceful & irritating atmosphere.
It used to be peaceful. Now a days, temple singers with bad voice tone are allowed to sing on mike connected to very loud speakers at vuyala seva, which is spoiling the divinity and peace of the temple.
Bad voice coupled with loud sound is multiplcating the issue. Because of this, I don't feel like visiting the temple anymore. Hope someone corrects this and brings back the pleasant atmosphere...
