VaikuntaPuram Venkateswara Swamy 🙏 A Divine Experience in Tenali 🌟 1. One of the Most Revered Temples in Tenali This temple is among the most visited and spiritually powerful temples in Tenali. It is a place filled with faith, hope, and countless blessings for its devotees. 2. Peaceful and Positive Atmosphere As soon as you enter, there's an instant feeling of calmness. The surroundings are clean and peaceful, perfect for sitting quietly and offering prayers. 3. Crowds of Devotees, Especially on Saturdays Saturdays are considered highly auspicious here. The temple gets filled with devotees from early morning, offering poojas, lighting lamps, and seeking blessings. The energy is vibrant and spiritual. 4. Special Belief – Prayers Come True Here People have strong faith that their wishes will be fulfilled when prayed sincerely at this temple. Many come back to offer thanks after their prayers are answered. 5. Famous for Bellam Pongal – A Sweet Offering of Devotion The temple is very famous for the preparation of Bellam Pongal (sweet jaggery pongal). It’s not just offered as prasadam – devotees themselves prepare it as a vow (mokku). 6. Dedicated Space with Multiple Gas Stoves for Pongal Preparation A unique and beautiful aspect of this temple is that it has many gas stoves provided inside the premises, where people come with ingredients and prepare Bellam Pongal on their own. This tradition adds a personal connection to the offering. 7. Ideal for Family Visits The temple is clean, well-managed, and family-friendly. It’s a safe and spiritually uplifting place for children, elders, and everyone in between. 8. Spiritual Architecture and Maintenance The temple is traditional in design but well maintained. The floors are clean, the deity beautifully decorated, and the entire area glows with divine energy. 9. A Must-Visit for Devotees in Tenali & Nearby Areas Whether you are from Tenali or just visiting the town, this temple should definitely be on your list. The experience of devotion, the sacred Pongal, and the peaceful environment make it unforgettable. 🙏 Final Note: This temple isn’t just about rituals – it’s about faith in action. Making your own pongal, praying with your heart, and feeling the divine blessings is what makes this place truly magical and memorable. Govinda Govinda Govinda 🙏🙏🙏

A brief historical background and Sthala Puranam in respect of Sri Lakshmi Padmavathi Sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamyvari Temple, Vykuntapuram, Tenali, Guntur district. Sri Lakshmi Padmavathi Sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamyvari Temple, Vykuntapuram, Tenali occupies a predominant position at a most popular Vaishnavaite Temple in Guntur District. Thousands of pilgrims visit this sacred shrine not only from Guntur District but also from far off districts of our state. The founder of this temple is Sri Tulluru Bala Narasimha Rao Gowda, s/o. Subba Rayudu, tenali a resident of tenali Town. One day, a drumpt a sweet dream in which he has received a message from Swamy Nagaraju with directions that he should immediately take steps for the construction of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in a place located to the Southern side of Repalle to Guntur railway line and on the side of the Nizampatnam Canal. the place indicated by Swamy Nagaraju; is sufficiently wide having adequate space for future developments. The Swamy Nagaraju also resides in a corner of that locality. On hearing this message Sri Tulluru Bala Narasimha Rao Gowda is thrilled and after a pause he has taken a strong decision to dedicate that are where Swamy Nagaraju resides for the construction of a beautiful temple and he has relinquished all his rights over that land. Afterwards, he has taken pains to collect donations from some prominent philanthropic-minded donors and he also contributed his own share of money and utilised the same for the construction of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at the place which is known as Vykuntapuram. Though the locality has been developed in the year 1961, the actual installation of the idol has taken place only during June 1972 by constructing a grand Ceremony in accordance with Vykhanasa Agam

This is a fairly old, famous & spacious temple. There are three shrines inside the sanctum sanctoram, all in a row. Lakshmi Ammavaru in the left shrine, Ayyavaru (Venkateswara Swamy) in the center and Padmavathi ammavaru in the right one. Flower garland adornment on ayyavaru is always an eye feast. Different poojas are performed here, I have attached a photo of that list. Most of the poojaris are nice, but a couple of them are irated. Apart from the main temple, there are few other small temples inside the compound premises 1. Nagendra swamy Paamu putta 2. Varaaha swamy 3. Hanuman 4. There is a big hall adjacent to main temple where they perform vuyala seva with deepalankarana & homam. Maintenance & cleanliness is fairly good. There are few wedding halls, which you can book for marriage purpose. Car parking is at the back, 2 wheeler parking is on the side of the temple. You may run out of parking spots on special or festival days, though there is a good parking space in the temple compound. Now the bad part - I have been visiting the temple on every Saturday consecutively for the last 6-7 weeks. What I have noticed is an unpeaceful & irritating atmosphere. It used to be peaceful. Now a days, temple singers with bad voice tone are allowed to sing on mike connected to very loud speakers at vuyala seva, which is spoiling the divinity and peace of the temple. Bad voice coupled with loud sound is multiplcating the issue. Because of this, I don't feel like visiting the temple anymore. Hope someone corrects this and brings back the pleasant atmosphere of the temple.
