Whisper Wind View Point on Horsley Hills is truly one of the most breathtaking places I have visited. The moment you reach, you are greeted with wide, open views of rolling green hills stretching endlessly into the horizon. The air feels fresh and cool, and the natural charm of this place makes it a perfect spot to just sit back, relax, and soak in the beauty of nature. It is one of those viewpoints where you can spend hours without realizing how quickly time passes, simply admiring the hills and enjoying the breeze. The sunrise and sunset views here are especially stunning, painting the entire sky with colors that make the ranges look even more magical.
However, what takes away from the experience a little is the lack of proper maintenance by visitors. I noticed bottles, broken pieces, and signs of people boozing around the spot, which honestly spoils the beauty of such a scenic location. Another thing I observed was that there didn’t seem to be any security or staff monitoring the area, which is probably why people misuse the place. If this aspect is taken care of, Whisper Wind View Point can truly remain the gem it deserves to be. Still, it is a must-visit for the sheer beauty of the Horsley...
Read moreThe locals know this place as Gaali Bandalu, literally translating in to Windy Rocks. It's a 5 minute walk from the APTDC's Haritha hotel/restaurant. Stunning place to watch the sun rise from I suspect. We got here in the afternoon and even though it was a bright, sunny and hot day the winds keep you very comfortable. Travelled from Bangalore, took us 4 hours to get here and 3 and a half hours to get back. Carry your own food and eat it here instead of relying on APTDC. But please carrying back your waste and don't litter on these rocks or leave your plastic or glass bottles lying around. They will fall down and smash and there are loads of kids...

The place is ideal to walk around, visit a couple of view points and look down at the valley. The wind blows against the face, making it a beautiful experience. Food can be had at the tourist rest house of AP Tourism on reasonable price. Overall, a good place for a day outing with...
