A much needed feature in the city of Bongaigaon. A good place to take the kids for an outing. The city does not have any children Park. In fact there is no concept of neighbourhood Park. Some reviewers have commented that it is not good for children. Well, I don't agree. I have always (well, almost) gone there with my kids. There is decent play area for the kids and lot of open space to run around. Of course, lot of couples make it their rendezvous point, which is natural. Some years back there were very limited places where a could meet in privacy. With new food joints and plazas coming up, that issue is solved to some extent. But still the park has it's own charm. Authorities would do well to increase the time for which the park is open. Especially if they could allow joggers in the early morning. Beautiful park with lots of swings, slides and play area for kids. Well maintained. Part of the area is under construction. There is a aquarium as well. Public toilet and a water cooler is there. The ticket prices Rs 20 for children above 4 and adults. Good park to spend time with friends and family. Food is allowed inside the park. There are some food stalls outside the park.
