Cafe Oktober — Restaurant in Assam

A few months back, me and one of my friend visited Cafe Oktober and were pleasantly surprised! We ordered Quesadilla (a Mexican dish), French Fries, and Baby Corn. The Quesadilla was the highlight – deliciously prepared and paired with a uniquely flavorful chutney that elevated the dish.

The ambience inside the cafe is cozy, pleasant, and beautifully aesthetic – perfect for people who love clicking photos. There are multiple unique and Instagram-worthy corners, making it a great spot to unwind and take some creative pictures.

Surprisingly, the restaurant was quite empty during our visit, with only about 5–6 people seated. It’s a peaceful place to chill without the crowd. The menu prices range between ₹180 to ₹300, which we found quite reasonable for the quality and portion size.

Inner look of the cafe is great, lighting and music is also according to the need. One thing I loved that we are uncomfortable on the table we got but we asked to change our table and they have informed us to move as other table got vacant. But on the other hand, I had to wait for more than 1.5 hr for only drums of heaven and noodles. First an waiter take our order and after half an hour another waiter came again and asked for order to confirm. Drums of heaven taste good but the noodles is ordinarily as like street side stalls. Don't why the needs to took order 2 times. When I asked the waiter who took order firstly is he confirmed our order or not, he didn't even apologies the just made some excuses that the items I ordered generally took more times ans for the the delay occurs (1.5 hrs). I don't understand people reviewing negativity, it isn't even constructive at the first place! First things first, The cafe has a good ambience, its spacious and airy! Food is good, atleast much better than what I had in other "cafe's" in the town. People complaining about service and the price, ya'll would've been complaining if there are no food joints and you guys also have problems with a new cafe who's just stepped in and trying to get itself better. Like seriously, learn to criticise and support the place to get better if you dont want to spend money or feel like its very expensive!
