Science কে ব্যবহার করে নানা ধরণের মজার খেলা তৈরি করা হয়েছে। এর ফলে ছোট বাচ্চারা science কে ভয় না পেয়ে এটিকে আনন্দের সাথে উপভোগ করে। Bardhaman Science Centre, is the district level science centre, under National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, started her journey on 9th January 1994. This Centre hosts an interesting voyage around science. Being a famous tourist destination, it is visited by a huge number of visitors / tourists from most of the areas of Bardhaman and different parts of neighboring districts. Amazing facts and mechanisms of science are displayed in this Centre as a work of magic. The prominent exhibition of the Centre includes the mystery behind flying objects, game of energy ball, wonders of chemistry show and many more very interesting exhibits /shows. In a word, the Science Centre is the classic spectacle of scientific evolution. Beside the natural aesthetic beauty, the main attractions of the centre are 3D Theater, Science Shows , Science Magic & Miracle shows, Taramandal Shows and Sky Observation through Telescope. The centre has galleries on Fun Science, Human Performance and Life Science Corner . The interactive exhibits of the Human Performance gallery involve activities related to human endurance, human reflex, human senses and co-ordination, human agility, human capability and human perception. They offer challenges to the visitors and make them take part in the exhibition and enjoy. In the Fun Science Gallery one can learn through fun, the principles of various scientific topics. This unique centre has been established near Burdwan University (Golapbagh, Burdwan) with an aim to popularize science among the common mass by West Bengal State Science Council (DST WB). This centre is very popular among the common people and school students. It usually remains open from 11 am to 6 pm (Sunday to Saturday). The Science Park situated inside the centre is another attraction. It demonestrates the application of scientific theoream by engaging you in various sports. Inside the main Hall there are different Sections i.e. Biology, Physics, Electronics etc where you may enjoy a lot by playing different applications of science. Bhulbhlia, Infinite well, Never ending Train etc are few of the games demonestrated here that apply the knowlege of Mirror and Lens. "Taramandal" is another most attractive feature of this centre where you can learn our night sky. 'Science Magic Show' is highly popular among the visitors and school/college students. There is a Book/Reference Stall inside the Centre where you can buy different books on science or Scientific Instruments. "3D Show" seems to be the most attrative feature of this Centre. It's amazing 30 mins to sit inside the AC Hall and visualize the thrill of 3D Technology. In front of the main gate of the centre the sculptures Pioneer scientists of Bengal is another Hallmark of this Centre. It's an perfect place to bring your family and kids for timeout.
