Learn moreI have visited the restaurant 2 times. About the quality of food, it is no doubt really good...but the part where it let down to 1 stars is the service provided and the management. On the 1st visit to the restaurant, they asked me to sit near the cashier, the corner table, claiming the other AC was not working well and i had to sit there. I agreed to it and everything was fine. On the 2nd visit which was about a week after the 1st visit, the same issue occured. This time i went with 4 people, and though we wanted to sit in some other table, they insisted us to sit on the same corner table near the cashier. I told them we wanted to sit on another table, so why was they being so persistent about sitting in that corner table and they switched on the so called "not working AC" whose cooling was not good. The problem was that the AC that was running near the Cashier's side was fine but he switched it off since he had to run the AC near to our table and the cooling was not good at all. I want to get some things straight, Firstly, you are running a restaurant, its your duty to fix your AC and whatever, you clearly don't bother to fix it even after weeks, you are taking money from customers to provide quality food and service, which should be taken care of at all costs. Secondly, a customer visits you for 1 hour or a bit more, we get in from the sultry heat to a cool ambience and you staff sit in that AC all day, you can't just keep running 1 defective AC even when i complain that its not cool, if you have to run 2 ACs you should. Lastly, food service is really slow...i was alone in the restaurant in all my 2 visits..yet every order was very much delayed. We dined in that 1 AC even though we told them it was still hot, they didn't bother to switch on another AC until another customer came and sat in the corner table. You charge good amount, but service is useless, so no matter how good the food, if your service is bad, your restaurant gets a bad tag. If anyone reads this pain staking review and visits the restaurant, or have visited, you all can relate that they always make you sit near the...
Read moreADDA Restaurant cum Bar in Bardhaman is a popular spot for those looking to enjoy good food and drinks in a relaxed setting. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori options. Among the popular choices are Chicken Tandoori, Chilli Chicken, Butter Chicken, and Mutton Rogan Josh, all of which are praised for their rich flavors. The bar serves a decent selection of liquors, cocktails, and mocktails, making it a great place for an evening hangout. However, some customers feel that the cocktails could be better in terms of taste and presentation.
The ambiance is casual and inviting, with dim lighting that sets the mood for a comfortable dining experience. It is a lively place, perfect for small celebrations or gatherings with friends. However, during peak hours, the crowd can get noisy, which might not be ideal for those looking for a quieter setting.
Service at ADDA is generally good, with polite and attentive staff. While food is served promptly during off-peak hours, weekends and busy evenings may result in longer waiting times. Some customers have mentioned occasional delays in getting their orders, but the overall experience remains positive.
In terms of pricing, ADDA is quite affordable compared to similar restaurants in the area. The portion sizes are satisfying, and the happy hour deals on drinks are an added bonus. Most visitors find it a great value for money, though a few have noted inconsistencies in food quality on certain occasions.
Overall, ADDA Restaurant cum Bar is a great place for casual dining and drinks. With a good variety of food, a welcoming ambiance, and reasonable prices, it remains a favorite among locals. While there are minor drawbacks like occasional service delays and variations in food quality, the overall experience is enjoyable and worth a visit. Dinner...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to ADDA, my dining experience was a mixed bag. We ordered Mixed Fried Rice, Chicken Rezala, and Butter Naan. Unfortunately, the Chicken Rezala was quite disappointing. The dish had an unpleasant smell, suggesting that old, refrigerated chicken had been used. This significantly detracted from our overall enjoyment of the meal.
On a brighter note, the Mixed Fried Rice was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Each bite was delightful, and the combination of ingredients was well-balanced. This dish truly stood out and was the highlight of our meal. The Butter Naan was also quite good, with a perfect balance of softness and butteriness, making it an ideal complement to the other dishes.
However, the poor quality of the Chicken Rezala left a lasting impression. It’s crucial for a restaurant to maintain freshness in their ingredients, especially when it comes to meat dishes. The disappointing Chicken Rezala overshadowed the otherwise pleasant experience of the Mixed Fried Rice and Butter Naan.
The overall ambience of the restaurant was inviting, and the service was satisfactory. But the smelly Chicken Rezala left us feeling let down. I hope the management takes note of this and ensures that their food quality remains consistent.
In conclusion, while there were aspects of the meal that we enjoyed, the issue with the Chicken Rezala is something that needs immediate attention. I recommend visiting this restaurant with caution and sticking to the tried and...
