Jawaharlal Nehru Park — Attraction in Bengaluru

A park maintained by ITI. ITI campus itself is a well planned society with acres of vegetation and ITI / Jawaharlal Nehru Park adds beauty to it's wonderful society.

Filled with variety of flowering plants and rare trees is a mini cubbon park for we residents of Ramamurthy Nagar. Love the calm and breezy atmosphere of this park and lush green vegetation. It is our favorite spot we spent with our kids during evenings. Entrance is free.

Most of the facilities including a small hall , toilet, old aquairium, fountain all are poorly maintained. But recently they have developed few kids play area and painted the facilities as if trying to bring a comeback to it's proud old history.

If you want to enjoy a walk or to spend some time playing with your kids, I would definitely recommend this place.

During some seasons some entertainment and shopping fairs are put up which is a wonderful experience to kids...

It is my kids regular weekend place. Easily reachable. Its inside ITI gate. We have buses till ITI gate on old madras road and from there 5 minutes walk takes you to the park. You can park 2 wheeler front of the gate or foot path but 4 wheeler I don't see enough parking available. Dont expect much here. We have enough place with few play items for kids slider, swing etc. No amenties here. Better to bring water, snacks since park has no food canteen. Sometimes they give this park for exhibition. Morning and evening you see people coming for walking as near by old madras road Kr puram we have very limited options for kids play area and walking. To start with the entrance shown in Google maps is usually closed there though it is the main gate as it is near proximity to the main road, there is obe security at the entrance no entry fee of course. Parking is there kind of ,but mainly for two wheelers. The park itself is lacking maintenance as there's no interlocked pavements, fallen leaves and all. But the park itself is beautiful and if maintain properly have potential indeed. There's a sculpture make area which is fun especially for photos. A small pond, an arched bridge.
