It was joy to visit Shivalik Garden on 3rd and 10th March,2019 along with family.Our son and daughter-in-law regular visitor to the beautiful garden along with our grandson. Viewing the sun set from the garden gave this soul extraordinary joy during visit to the beautiful vibrant garden on the above two days. But on 10th March,2019,evening,when i was searching for a public toilet in the garden,i experienced great difficulty in locating the Public Toilet with Toilet ID No.MCC/PTB/243 of Ward No.25.At this old age i had to walk a long distance to reach the toilet.And on reaching the toilet site and after use the toilet, i was disappointed to experience absemce of water from the taps located on the wash basin to clean my hands.Cleanliness and Maintenance of inside of toilet complex was disappointing and need urgent attention of the concerned authority. Besides urgent actions to address problems of non-availability of water and poor main tenance of Public Toilets including stinking smell inside the toilet complex,appropriate actions are also solicitated by the service provider (MCC Chandigarh) to study and make a review of the adequacy of such public toilet facilities by providing more number of well maintained pay and use type toilet facilities at convinent locations for users in such a big and beautiful Shivalik Garden at Manimajara of Chandigarh.Wish all the best to the MCC Chandigarg.Hope my next visit from Delhi to my son and his family at Chandigarh,i will not be disappointed while visiting the Shivalik Garden and particularly using,if required, well maintained toilet facilities in such a beautiful garden.With best wishes to concerned authority of...
