Sukhna Reservoir was designed in 1974. Le Corbusier, the architecture of Chandigarh and Chief Engineer P.L. Verma, gifted this beautiful lake to the city dwellers and are the core two persons who made the lake. The depth of Sukhna Lake is 16 feet or 4.9 m and is sprawled over an area of 3 sq.km.
