The history of the temple has been shown in Chhattisgarh Doordarshan. Idols of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, Panchmukhi Shivling of Lord Shiva have also been installed in the temple. छत्तीसगढ़ दूरदर्शन में मंदिर का इतिहास दिखाया गया है। जिसमें इस मंदिर के इतिहास और मान्यताओं के बारे में बताया गया है कि इस मंदिर को ठाकुर परिवार ने बनवाया था, जिनकी संतान जन्म संबंधित परेशानी हो रही थी, इसलिए उन्होंने दो तालाब और एक मंदिर बनवाया। मंदिर में भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती की मूर्तियां,भगवान शिव का पंचमुखी शिवलिंग भी स्थापित की गईं है। इसके साथ ही संत तुलसीदास, माता संतोषी और भगवान हनुमान का मंदिर भी है। मंदिर के दोनों ओर एक तालाब बनाया गया है, जिसमें सैकड़ों कछुए हैं और हजारों मछलियां पाली जाती हैं। तालाब के चारों ओर पेड़-पौधों का घेरा है।
