Countryside Café And Restaurant — Restaurant in Chhattisgarh

I am writing this review to warn others about the appalling and frankly inhuman treatment I received at The Countryside Baker.

My experience was nothing short of hostile. I entered the restaurant before an exam, hoping to wait and enjoy an ice cream that is clearly listed on their menu. However, I was immediately told it was unavailable.

The staff then approached me two more times in quick succession to pressure me into ordering something else. Before I could even process the limited options or the uncomfortable rushing, on their third approach, they did not ask for an order—they demanded that I leave the premises.

Shocked and humiliated, I complied and left immediately. I then made the mistake of simply standing outside the restaurant, gathering my thoughts. A staff member came out, forcefully pushed me, and aggressively stated that I was not allowed to stand "in front of or near" their establishment.

This was not just bad customer service; it was dehumanizing. I was not treated like a person but like an inconvenience to be removed by any means necessary. The aggression and physical force used were completely unacceptable.

Please take my word for it: do not give this business your money. The behavior of the staff is a serious red flag. I share this not just as a criticism, but as a genuine warning to other potential customers.

So it is located under the parthivi province college of sarona raipur The premise of building is obviously crowded due to many candidates appearing for exam are waiting in line So people who come for the exam usually visit this cafe most of the time to get breakfast or lunch or both Otherwise I don't think anyone would want a celebrate their anniversary or any event here or maybe go on a date then this cafe is a red flag. You see this cafe is generally purposed to serve of the students and their parents who came for the exam And if you're not going to behave well infront of them then they will avoid visiting Also the service charge they add for their poor service is not acceptable 😒 I ordered cheese sandwiches here, in which there was no cheese 😅 and it costs me ₹130 and coffee price ₹40 which was served to me in a dirty cup 👇 Milk was not tossed around well in my coffee also All I can say is that this cafe is good in terms of the availability of food option(as there isn't any competition) but still food quality and behaviour could improve based on the service charges...

Was there for ibps exam.. the owner does not deserve to be a human being. He is one of the worst person I've ever seen. Parents,students were sitting on the stairs, on the floor of the open area but this heartless man made them to vacate. Even an elderly uncle and aunty were sitting on the floor, but he had no heart for them & made them to leave the area. He charged 30 rs for sitting on the chair. No one is having problem when people were sitting on the floor or on stairs but this man is monster. Prayed to the God to punish such monster person. Remember karma will get back at you. Aaj...
