Maharana Pratap Park also known as Rithala Park is a centrally located gem that serves the communities of Rithala, Vijay Vihar, and Rohini. With its expansive greenery, it’s an ideal spot for jogging, walking, or simply unwinding amidst nature. The tall mast displaying our tricolour adds a patriotic touch and enhances the park's appeal.

The park has three main entry and exit points: Gate No. 1, Gate No. 2, and Gate No. 3, making it easily accessible from different areas. A standout feature of the park is the open gymnasium, which attracts fitness enthusiasts of all ages. During spring, the park transforms into a vibrant oasis, with blooming flowers and scattered leaves creating a picturesque ambiance. Although I don’t visit regularly due to my busy routine, it’s always uplifting to see people playing cricket, cards, or enjoying the calm surroundings whenever I do.

While the pond currently lacks water, the park’s ample space and lush greenery make up for it. Additionally, the park is well-known as the venue for the largest Chhath Puja Ghat celebrations in North West Delhi.
