Read moreBE VERY CAREFUL while travelling to this beach. This is not a popular tourist destination and hence IS NOT SAFE AT ALL. We got into a very unpleasant situation due to a small parking mistake. A local goon with long hair on a bike very rudely asked us to take our car to a different location. We admitted our mistake and politely went forward to do the same. However, the goon was in a mood to entertain himself. He kept following us and tried to pick a fight. He physically threatened us and even poked my fellow traveller friend even though none of us did anything. Even as we were walking away he kept encircling us with his bike and shouting expletives and profanities. In the end we decided it would be safest for us to take our car and leave the place for good. We felt really helpless as we did not know anyone. The goon probably knew locals who he could have easily summoned and hurt us. The road was empty with no police or cctvs in sight. The goon could have injured us and nobody would even come to know. SO PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL if you visit this place. TRY TO AVOID IT. Visit North Goa and other places in the South but...
