One of the best zoo in india..The scenery was breathtaking and it was such a unique and exciting way to spend the day. It includes animals like lions, rhinos, tigers, giraffes, bison, leopards, 12 types of deer and antelopes, zebras, and other exotic animals. This zoo will take you through an adventurous and exciting trip of watching wildlife, enjoying scenic beauty of the hills and entertaining experiences of a lifetime. The park is a home to more than 186 species of fauna, covering various biomes of Africa, Australia, Asia and America. Visitors will also be able to spot Indiaโs endangered species, which includes the magnificent big cats such as Asiatic Lion, Royal Bengal Tiger and Leopard. The safari route has been designed such, that the visitors can view animal activities, spot reptiles and watch birds. The significant feature of this park is that, the visitors can see animals in an open environment and the forest will provide the effect of a Jungle Safari kind of tour.Another highlight is the walk through Aviary, harbouring the finest of indigenous birds. Here the visitors can walk amidst of the birds specific to varied habitats, which have been created simulating the natural habitat of each of the species. The view will not be obstructed by the bars of the cages. It has two aviaries housing large number of birds.A unique experience with exotic birds like Macaw, Cockatoo, Pheasants, Black Swan, Grey Parrot, Cape Crowned Crane and more colours from South America, Australia, South East Asia and Africa and other parts of the globe. I highly recommend this jungle safari to anyone visiting the area, it's definitely worth it!

The Jungle Safari at Ekta Nagar, near the Statue of Unity, offers an immersive experience into wildlife and nature. Spread over a vast area, it hosts a variety of animals including lions, tigers, leopards, and exotic birds, providing a great opportunity for animal lovers and photographers alike. The enclosures are spacious, resembling the animalsโ natural habitats, making it feel more authentic. The safari is well-organized, with professional guides sharing interesting information about the animals and their behaviors. The ride through the safari is comfortable, but itโs recommended to visit in the early hours or late afternoon for better chances of spotting animals. One of the highlights is the vibrant aviary and the reptile house, which add diversity to the wildlife experience. The lush greenery and picturesque landscapes complement the safari, making it a relaxing yet thrilling adventure. However, the waiting time for the safari can be long during peak seasons, and some areas may get crowded. Booking tickets in advance is a good idea. Overall, the Jungle Safari is a must-visit for those exploring the Statue of Unity area, blending wildlife with natural beauty in an enriching outing.

Great place for kids. But the attitude of staff especially the ones driving the electric cabs inside the zoo is very bad. They are lazy and not interested in doing their jobs. First of all they want to cramp as many people as possible in one cab to minimise the no of trips with disregard to all Covid protocol. When we protested, the driver told that if you are worried for COVID then you should stay at home. Secondly they are not interested in covering all the animal enclosures. They will give lame excuse that some parts of the ZOO are closed especially the crocodile section. If you need to go then you have to walk for long distance. Even the lady at ticket counter supports them. Third if you personally know the cab driver or make him happy, then only he will give you a personal tour of all the areas. I saw one cab driver taking one family on the route to the crocodile section even when as per the ticket counter it was officially closed. When I inquired he told that it is a private tour. Also there is no complain book or any personnel to register a complain. I hope management walks up and takes action to make this wonderful place convenient and interesting for the tourists, otherwise all the money spent by the government will go to waste.

I had a delightful time at the Jungle Safari last weekend, and surprisingly, it wasn't too crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable! ๐๐ณ The Statue of Unity Jungle Safari is a fantastic spot, especially if you're visiting with kids. ๐พ๐ถ It's like entering a wildlife wonderland with various animals to marvel at. One highlight is the availability of golf carts that take you on a leisurely tour through the entire Jungle Safari. ๐๏ธ๐ It's not only convenient but adds an extra element of fun to your adventure. Visited in last week of March during weekday only!! In Jungle safari, out of 10 zones only 3 zones are open for visitors other all are locked & under maintenance (as said by working staff) In whole park, Map is of all 10 zones shown! 2 Aviary are something new concept in which birds shown in open environment flying in between humans. Otherwise it's totally looks like zoo at premium ticket price on name of Statue of unity area, Zoo of cities like mysuru & Kolkata are much better than this. One thing less often see in other zoo,is VIP culture being followed!! General Visitors even not allowed to take personal vehicle & battery operated vehicle available their also seen less operated!! But Senior Official's relative are treated like VIP & allowed to take their cars may be even without entry fees!! Also Fees (โน200) charged according to attractions are high as per zones available in jungle safari Try to visit during morning or evening time if you want to visit in summers Can skip this attraction at Statue of unity it saves time, energy as well as money
