The Jungle Safari at the Statue of Unity, part of the Sardar Patel Zoological Park in Ekta Nagar (Kevadia), offers a captivating wildlife experience near the iconic monument. Spanning 375 acres across varying terrains, it's home to a diverse array of over 186 species of animals and birds from across the globe, including Africa, Australia, Asia, and America. As you embark on your safari, you'll have the chance to spot majestic big cats like the Asiatic Lion, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Leopard. The park is thoughtfully designed with multi-level pathways and spacious enclosures, allowing for clear views of the animals in naturalistic habitats. A highlight is the impressive walk-through aviaries, among India's largest, where you can observe a vibrant collection of indigenous and exotic birds up close. To make exploring this expansive park convenient, the Jungle Safari offers a complimentary E-cart service on a hop-on, hop-off basis. This service allows visitors to comfortably navigate the different sections of the safari, especially useful during peak times or for those who prefer not to walk the entire distance. The Jungle Safari aims to combine wildlife conservation with an educational and entertaining visit for all ages. It's a fantastic addition to your Statue of Unity itinerary, offering a refreshing contrast to the monument itself and a chance to connect with nature. Tickets are priced at ₹200 for adults and ₹125 for children (3-15 years), and the safari is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed on Mondays.

had a great great experience at the Jungle Safari near the Statue of Unity. This place is really beautiful and peaceful. If you love animals and nature, this is the best place to visit. The safari area is full of greenery. There are many trees, plants, and clean walking paths. The air feels fresh and cool. It is a nice break from busy city life. There are so many different animals in the safari. I saw lions, tigers, zebras, giraffes, deer, blackbucks, elephants, and many birds too. All the animals live in big open spaces that look like their natural homes. It’s not like a zoo with small cages. The animals looked healthy and active. The safari tour is done in a bus. The bus stops at different points so you can see the animals closely and take pictures. At some spots, we were just a few meters away from the animals. It was an exciting and new feeling for me. There are also boards near each animal area with names and details, so we learn something new about every animal. It’s not just fun, it’s also educational—especially good for kids. The place is neat and clean. The staff is helpful and the whole area feels very safe. There are also drinking water spots and clean washrooms inside. Overall, Jungle Safari is a must-visit if you are coming to the Statue of Unity. It is a perfect place for families, kids, and anyone who enjoys nature and wildlife. I would love to visit again!

The Jungle Safari at Ekta Nagar, near the Statue of Unity, offers an immersive experience into wildlife and nature. Spread over a vast area, it hosts a variety of animals including lions, tigers, leopards, and exotic birds, providing a great opportunity for animal lovers and photographers alike. The enclosures are spacious, resembling the animals’ natural habitats, making it feel more authentic. The safari is well-organized, with professional guides sharing interesting information about the animals and their behaviors. The ride through the safari is comfortable, but it’s recommended to visit in the early hours or late afternoon for better chances of spotting animals. One of the highlights is the vibrant aviary and the reptile house, which add diversity to the wildlife experience. The lush greenery and picturesque landscapes complement the safari, making it a relaxing yet thrilling adventure. However, the waiting time for the safari can be long during peak seasons, and some areas may get crowded. Booking tickets in advance is a good idea. Overall, the Jungle Safari is a must-visit for those exploring the Statue of Unity area, blending wildlife with natural beauty in an enriching outing.
