I visited Sabarmati Biodiversity Park in Ahmedabad, and it was wonderful! This 2-hectare green space near Ambedkar Bridge (on Sabarmati Riverfront) feels like a hidden forest in the middle of the busy city.
I went at 7 AM, and the park was full of life—over 7,000 trees (120+ types) and 35+ bird species like kingfishers, egrets, and more. The natural walking paths (made of bamboo and wood) made the experience peaceful and relaxing.

We were accompanied by two efficient guides Shiv Gupta and Pinki Agrawal who were enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the diaspora at the park. Plus the weather today was amazing, it was raining and yet these two people were with our family giving all the information. You will not feel that you are in Ahmedabad and it feels much like we are walking in some forest. A brilliant intiatyive and I hope other like minded people would visit this place.
