Tithal Beach, located in Valsad, Gujarat, is a prominent and popular coastal destination known for its unique black sand and a variety of recreational and spiritual attractions. Here's a highlight of what makes Tithal Beach a great place to visit: Unique Black Sand and Scenic Beauty Unlike most beaches with golden or white sand, Tithal Beach is distinguished by its black sand, a result of the region's volcanic activity. The sunsets here are particularly famous, painting the sky with vibrant hues that are a treat for photographers and nature lovers alike. Fun Activities and Eateries Tithal Beach is a hub of activity and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy a variety of water sports, including: Jet skiing Banana boat rides Speed boating Parasailing (seasonal) For those who prefer to stay on land, the beach offers camel and horse rides along the shore. The promenade is lined with stalls and eateries serving delicious local snacks and street food like bhajiya, dabeli, bhel chaat, and fresh sugarcane juice, providing a true taste of local flavor. Spiritual and Cultural Significance A key highlight of Tithal Beach is its proximity to two major temples: the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple and the Shri Sai Baba Temple, both of which overlook the sea. The presence of these temples makes the beach a blend of natural beauty and spiritual tranquility, drawing both tourists and devotees. The evening aarti at the Sai Baba temple, with the sound of the waves in the background, is a particularly calming and memorable experience. Accessibility and Amenities Tithal Beach is well-equipped with amenities to ensure a comfortable visit. It has restrooms, adequate parking facilities, and options to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. We visited Tithal Beach in Valsad during the summer holidays in May 2025, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences for our entire family. Despite the summer heat, the cool sea breeze, the soothing sound of waves, and the scenic beauty made the trip extremely refreshing and memorable.

Tithal Beach is located just a few kilometers from Valsad city and is easily accessible by road. We reached in the early morning, which gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sunrise over the black sand beach. The morning sunlight reflecting on the gentle waves created a magical atmosphere.

We had a lot of fun at the beach – playing in the water, splashing with the waves, and building sandcastles with the kids. The unique black sand added a special charm to the whole experience. Children were especially thrilled and didn’t want to leave the water. Everyone in the family thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and fun-filled time at the shore.

There were many local food stalls near the beach offering delicious snacks like bhajiyas, sweet waffles, coconut water, bhel, and batata vadas, which kept us refreshed throughout the day. The cleanliness of the beach and the maintenance by the local authorities is commendable. Parking space was easily available, and basic facilities like washrooms were also present, making the experience comfortable.

We clicked many beautiful pictures and created lasting memories. The calm and natural setting of Tithal Beach provided not just fun but also peace of mind. Even with the weekend crowd, the beach had enough space to relax and enjoy without feeling too busy.

Overall, our trip to Tithal Beach was a perfect combination of nature, relaxation, and enjoyment. Whether you're looking for a short picnic, some quality family time, or just a peaceful walk by the sea, Tithal Beach offers it all. We’ve already decided to visit again soon, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing beachside getaway in...
