A restaurant cum bar maintained by Haryana tourism is also there. Well maintained park with swings, sitting areas and couple friendly points. Boating is available at reasonable prices. It is very neat and clean place. One may enjoy weekend evenings here. Not much crowded. Karna Lake is a major tourist attraction in the Karnal district of Haryana. It is located at a distance of 125 km from both Chandigarh and Delhi, thus serving as a midway halt while traveling between the two cities on the famous Grand Trunk Road. Folklore has it that Karna, a famous character from Indian history, who played a major role in the war of Mahabharat, used to bathe in this lake. Read moreFully enjoyed there with my friends. We did boating in lake. There are boats of different categories i.e for 2 person , 3 or 5-6 person or more . You can also choose whether you want to drive boat on your own or with someone from staff. Many birds were also there. But mainly duck is present at that time. We did boating for around 1 hour in 160 rupees for 4-5 person. Honestly their safety management is poor . They didn't give us safety jacket or any kind of thing so that one can be rescued in case of drowning. So safety managements were poor. And there were of motor boat and pedal boat both were available. After did boating for couple of hours we took lunch at the restaurant present there. The price of food items is moderate especially packed food . So we took some rest after that and took a walk around the lake. There was a very pleasant atmosphere at that time during sunset. We took some snaps with friends. The lake was very crystal clear at that time. Than we took some photos of ducks 🦆.And then we returned before closing of park...
